OBJECTIVE
Illustrate and design a poster for Atari, showcasing the 2600 Console.
PROCESS
I was commissioned to design and illustrate a poster showcasing Atari’s groundbreaking 2600 console from 1977. The project called for both a detailed black-and-white schematic illustration and a vibrant, lifelike portrayal of the console.
Drawing inspiration from a plethora of reference photos, I meticulously illustrated the console in Adobe Illustrator, employing precision tools such as the pen tool, gradients, and stylized textures to achieve a realistic visual impact. To enhance the poster’s background, I creatively incorporated iconic symbols from Space Invaders, a widely beloved Atari game.
